Address hit tracing via Ostrich 2.0
New XDF format extensions for new data types and functionality. Some will be exposed over time
Aliased and linked items are updated when their counterparts are updated
XDF Item tree replaces the item lists of v4, making for easier categorization, viewing, and overall usability
Mousing over items in XDF Item Tree shows item comments
Brand new data acquisition engine for acquiring real time data from the vehicle. This replaces the ALDL acquisition engine from V4, and can be used for much more than just ALDL. It can communicate with just about any stream format (although there are a few limitations that will be addressed later)
New datastream definition format (ADX) that is much more extensible, and enables the functionality of the new acquisition engine.
New real time data visualizations, including fully customizable data lists, fully customizable dashboard controls, fully customizable histograms, and fully customizable monitor charts
