Figured I would post an update as to the progress, and slight setback I've encountered while trying to get this to work correctly. First, I changed the row labeling for the XDF to a single floating point value per row to avoid a conflict with the string data which I was previously using. Then I defi...

Thank you again for the advice! The bits I'm concerned with are: 0x01(4th gear) 0x02(3rd gear) 0x04(2nd gear) 0x08(1st gear) I should be able to sort this out thanks to your advice which I much appreciate. Also, please feel free to move this thread topic if you feel it better suites a different sect...

I was just thinking as I was about to apply your suggestion that in order for this to work as I was hoping that I will need to associate all four gear bits into one value for the Y axis. I've included a picture of one of the tables that is dependent on all four gear bits, which has Power/ECO mode bu...

The Bitwise Operation for the 'Current Gear Bit' is configured as a Bitwise AND, which displays the current gear when true, or 1. I wasn't sure if there was another way to make this work how I was intending, but I'm relatively new to the software, and I know there are probably a few things th...

Adding Bitmasks to Data Association
Forgive me if this has been asked as a feature request before (searched, but couldn't find any related info), or if it isn't a possibility, but I was curious if it would be possible to add 'Bitmasks' for Data Association. The 1g DSM TCU XDF I've been working on has a few very important tables that d...

Nicely done. Will you be willing to share these files for the TunerPro site and the community at large? I too was having an issue with funky data, and errors on the TCU ADX that I've been working on for 1g DSM's. ...to put the finishing touches on the XDF too. :) Yes Sir, I'm more than willing to s...

I too was having an issue with funky data, and errors on the TCU ADX that I've been working on for 1g DSM's. I ended up adding a 'Listen for Silence' to be used as a pause after each send/listen command per data item at a time interval of 20ms as shown in the screenshots that robertisaar posted (BTW...

The AEM white papers, which may or may not be correct from what I've read, list the full scale voltage of the sensor to be 4.99v, basically 5v. The papers also list the AFR scale from 10-19.98 for gasoline, basically an AFR range of 10. Additionally, the ECU will interpret the voltage it sees as 0-2...

Pretty nice setup you have there! It is awesome that such a tool exists and can facilitate a wide array of platforms, as well as its ability to aid in building custom setups! I definitely have the necessary spare connectors and such, and even have a spare ECU case for an enclosure. More than likely,...

I think your best chance of finding the bin you need would be to e-mail the guy who says he has it, post to the topic message from the link, or a new one. If you're lucky, he may have a matching xdf too. http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/dsm-ecu/message/8067 Do you still have the original ROM chi...

What version of the ALDL logging cable do you have, PC or Palm? The only difference between the two cables is how the receive and transmit are connected. On the palm cable, P2 is transmit, P3 is receive, and P5 is ground. On the laptop version, P2 is receive, P3 is transmit, and P5 is ground. Here i...
