$24 connects, but no data

I have a 86 Fiero GT 2.8

downloaded the $24 ads. it connnects fine, but shows no information. I'm just trying to display sensor info with the engine not running (since it doesnt start) for diagnostics reasons.

I notice a note about using a 10k resistor.. so where do I put it? thanks

I dont really want it to export anything. Surely you do. sorry that was a typo, I meant everything. but anyway regardless I would like it like before. I'm using a VE calculator spreadsheet thats setup for the way V4 exports. I like the data tracing in V5, but the log exporting isnt working the way ...

edit for typo

log exporting in TP5

When I goto export the datalog, it shows a list of 151 things to select that you want in the log

is there a way to make it export like it did in TP4, where you dont have to choose what you want?

does it record tracing for all tables, or only 1 at a time?

did you hit the A in the table before recording, or just record?

tracer for datalog playback?

I understand we now have a tracer for live ALDL data. honestly I havent even used it yet, but I was wondering does this work for playing back the datalog too?

it would be great if the tracer would follow the datalog playback!

it seems no matter what I set my bpc vs egr to, or how high I increase the VE tables, cell 1 BLM is always 134 with the slightest tap of the throttle

is there a way to reset it within tunerpro?

I have installed 39# injectors and using $8F. I changed the INJ flow rate #/hr, but do I need to change the "INJ flow rate per single fire". its located at 65E hex I adjusted the bpc vs egr as well and the car is driving good. I just want to make sure the ECM has all the correct settings. ...

that sounds like a much easier solution. the more I think about it, comparing with different XDF's would be difficult to code

can I choose whats datalogged?

when I datalog is there a way I could choose whats datalogged?

reason im asking is I normally organize my datalog so the BLM, INT, RPM, MAP, and KNOCK are together

it would be great if I could just datalog what I need, and if I could choose the order they show up that would be a plus

thanks

I have 2 bins that are for a similar setup, except the code mask is different on them. it would be nice to be able to select the XDF for the compare bin

I just got done successfully tuning my part throttle, but am still having stalling problems consistently the INT will drop when comming to a stop, then it stalls. in the datalogs its hard to find a map reading exact to the rpm like it has in the table anyways. so that makes sense why theres .39 resolution. it would take alot of datalogging and searching to match up to the tables so exact.

ok so essentially once I get this tuned, making VE changes by .39, I should be able to get a BLM of 128 when I look at the table it seems like .39 would be too much of a step up/down since the values are small to begin with so im assuming once tuned, the INT should adjust enough not to change BLM fr...

for instance in a datalog if the blm was 133 at 1800rpm & 20kpa I would do 133/128=1.039 then I would look in the table under 1800rpm@ 20kpa and it would have 5.86 as the VE so I would go 5.86*1.039=6.09 (rounded up) if I try and enter 6.09 it wont save that. it would only save 6.25 I understand...

Sweet. It's good to hear that the data is matching up. Tuning with the WB is the right thing to do, but you should realize that without going into open loop, tuning will only affect the regions that aren't ECM corrrected (WOT tuning necessitates the WB). Everywhere else the computer corrects the fu...
