Ok thanks for the precision! All the tests you can do are very helpful, we can really know what happens. I did some quick tests when coming back from work (I will speak with 413 tables numbers for more comprehensivity) O2 disabled to be sure there was no compensation from regulation, I added approxi...

Again, everything is the same in 403. Secrets of the Motronics are falling :D That's some very good stuff you found here!! Rapid change of the TPS does not affect to the pulse width, except in MAF failure mode. (Alpha N) Can you tell a little more about that? If I understand correctly, could we say ...

good info! I have the same thing in 403, sizes are the same, scalings are similar (identical for the IAT/ECT table). Values are different on the first, but IMO just because different offsets in ignition timing formulas. For the second tables values are relatively different but the principle seems to...

I think D6 might be rate of TPS change. If you make small movements to the throttle then you stay in the LH side but big rapid changes see it go to the RH side. I'm not 100% sure but I think the D6 axis is the voltage increase over X time. I get the same conclusion from what I see in tracing on 403...

I think we can certainly say that in normal operation, TPS signal is used for Idle/PT and PT/switch, and as axis descriptor for the limp mode alpha/n table and for a 10x1 table in E45C. (same thing on 403) Values in the tables in D6E6 and D6F8 are min/max throttle position for Vanos activation, if I...

Found something just after the MAF transfer table in the 413: https://preview.ibb.co/nLfOvG/Sans_titre.png It's followed in the code by some FF FF , maybe are they part of it? It's in 16bit LoHi like for the MAF. I have the same thing in my 403 but in 16x1 and with lower values, the curve is a littl...

Here are the results: (I run E85 but my gauge is on gas scale) -With the whole 2 tables set at 255: AFR goes VERY rich. I was at 9.6 at all states/throttle positions, which is the limit of my gauge... So maybe it was lower than that. -With the whole 2 tables set to 5: AFR goes lean, between 16/18, s...

On my 403 this one is traced everytime EXCEPT on overrun fuel cut... Tested - again - and no tracing in overrun. IAC valve gets different duty cycle from somewhere else in overrun. EDIT:But this 4x6 (0xE3F0 - decel/overrun fuel) seems to be overrun idle valve position table. Its traced at ov...

on 403 I have both for lambda regulation: a 6x6 table and 3 2D tables. Set the whole 6x6 table to 0 turns the lambda regulation off, same thing for the 3 2D tables. On the 413-623, datas in the table in 0xE204 are very similar to the table of the 403... maybe these datas are a coefficient for the PI...

I have found why my IAT was not varying: a wire was cut in the plug under the protection. So the DME was using a default value (60°C) So now my IAT is working and the proper temperature is traced on the table. The 8x5 table is now 8x14 with 10°C steps from -30°C up to 100°C, which is probably too hi...

MAF transfer table from a DME 404, which I think is the good for your MAF.
Max value is higher than the 413 one. (The table is in 16*16 to be fully view in the screenshot, but it is in reality a 256*1 in 16bit LoHi

For me it would make more sense to use the 413 bin, but I can not surely tell if a 506 bin is good or not. Maybe a difference in any sensor, and surely difference in the MAF transfer table (anyway you should tune this table when runnig a 540i MAF, I think you could easily find the values it in a 540...

I will do it t...

By changing injector constant you will have to modify load scale on every tables that use the load as descriptor. LOAD on our Motronics DMEs is injection time needed for stoich, so if you modify the injectors constant (which is used for load calculation)without modify scaling you will have a poor de...

Like you said I think that switching one adress in the table list would work. I think that the DME is looking at thé 2 tables and averaging only in case of failure in the vanos solenoid circuit. For thé variable intake I was thinking doing a simuler thing with variable lenght velocity stocks, some...

Olafu, I took a look a the 3x4 table you said in E044 in the 413/623. I have a similar table in my bin, you can see it in this screenshot: https://preview.ibb.co/jYO115/IAT2.png datas are not the sames but scaling for ECT and IAT are the same.
