I think D6 might be rate of TPS change. If you make small movements to the throttle then you stay in the LH side but big rapid changes see it go to the RH side. I'm not 100% sure but I think the D6 axis is the voltage increase over X time. I get the same conclusion from what I see in tracing on 403...

Idle valve position affects to "LOAD" in 413 and 506 , when MAF signal is faulty or missing. I think in 403 it does same.. MAF signal was used in those last tests, so LOAD doesn't change and fuel remains same. It certainly does (and it would make sense) in 403 too. This must be the explan...

on 403 I have both for lambda regulation: a 6x6 table and 3 2D tables. Set the whole 6x6 table to 0 turns the lambda regulation off, same thing for the 3 2D tables. On the 413-623, datas in the table in 0xE204 are very similar to the table of the 403... maybe these datas are a coefficient for the PI...

Many of these stuffs (DTC codes, min/max thresolds, self-references are very similar in my 403 bin :D

IAT descriptor on a 403 dme is D0. Factor is X*0.75-48 in °C.
D3 seems To be "transitions " related, like throttle variation rate or something like that.

If your DME is a 413 red label, so the 413 red label should work.
If not it will not be better with a bin from another type of DME.

For me it would make more sense to use the 413 bin, but I can not surely tell if a 506 bin is good or not. You can't adjust idle fuel map (and no any other) without the good XDF. :wink:
You will also need to tune the injector latency (bigger injevtors are often slower to open than smaller ones)

Whats your DME, is it a 506 or a 413?
If you try to open a 413 bin with a 506 XDF it will not work, tables adresses are not the same.

I've download the bin and XDF for dme506/soft 965 (M3 usa) and it works well...

Hi,
your injector constant will depend of the size of the original ones (those that where used with your DME).
Dont forget that you will also have to tune the injectors dead time, and also re-scale all maps which are load related.
