try these, included an ADS and ADX that may or may not work. only covered TPS since that is pretty easy to verify with the engine off.

i can't find the file anymore, and this is all the information i can find, which isn't quite enough for me to make an ADX from.

i was playing with realterm last night, it grabs data just fine, but there is no kind of line seperation at all to indicate when start/stop bits were received so that the user knows a message started/stopped. i could pick out and seperate all of the normal mode messages coming out of the PCM to a no...

a 94 A-body would be ABS-VI.... i know i have the correct definition for it, i had to scan a 95 ciera or century with a bad wheel speed sensor. http://www.filedropper.com/95abs-vi as for the toronado..... i know it can be read, the Tech1 units are capable of doing it, just have to figure out which m...

I was trying to read a 730 GM thru an Ostrich 2.0 ad not getting it to connect with the computer. When I hooked up the connector from the cars computer access connector it reads fine. I have searched everywhere for the Right stream defenition but here in the download section the a225 file ( gm 1995 6.5 Turbodiesel l65) is greyed out and not downloadable , So I have...

you're further into 8D than i've ever needed to dig. i didn't know IAC logic was somehow involved with the AE calcs. mode 1 can be setup to allow to transmit only two bytes, but you'll need to change a value in the calibration from 63 to 2. i'm not that familiar with 8D to know off-hand, but i'm sur...

i've seen quite a few E only applications... the only ones i can remember off-hand that seem to always have them linked are the 7165 vehicles. i imagine that if someone is looking at that diagram to build their own though..... they're probably willing to cut out the whole seperate portion for the 16...

That'll work fine for both 160 and 8192. will it? i don't have any 160 baud stuff to test with that exact circuit, though i've built it before. http://wbo2.com.au/~techedge.com.au//vehicle/aldl160/160serial.htm i'm going off of that explanation anyways, it sounds like unless you specifically intend...

yes, if you have a serial port on your computer. otherwise, you'll need to run some signals through a RS232->USB converter. BTW, that schematic.... i'm not certain if you would be able to use it with a 160-baud application(without using the specific software it was designed for). reason being that i...

i'll explain your third example, since it can be confusing: the 3128 and 3129 address doesn't actually exist. in older GM code, having a location that transmits over ALDL start as 3xxx is actually a flag for the algorithm to send the value as a double-byte. this is done due to the time between one b...

A055 may be correct. i'm not familiar with the engine RPO that would have been used in the A-bodies.

those are also an odd ECM.... communicate at 8192 baud, but apparently only if a 10K resistor is in place and stays there?
