93LT1 Corvette Datalog with Tunerpro RT

Post by James93LT1 »

Tried to datalog my 93 LT1 Corvette with the Tunerpro RT (DA2.xdf, DA2.adx). I was able to get the ALDL cable connected to the car.

But once I tried to datalog, the communications connects and disconnects repeatedly, on and off, on and off, with the readings display jumping all over the place.

Any idea to a fix? I read the 94-95 Corvette had a same problem with something with the CCM.

I thought they had that fixed? Take a look at this thread.

I'll talk to Robert tomorrow and see if we can look at ALDL file and fix it. May be the pause, may be the extra byte, but I'm pretty sure it needs a silence CCM command in there...

a 93 likely does need some extra silencing.

i know the 94-95 stuff was quite picky about that as well.

Yeah it has a CCM with $FO poll which needs silenced and possibly the EBCM (abs) on same line to pin M of ALDL port. I'll see if I can work it out tomorrow. I got it to work on 1994-95 LT1s

Shot me a PM with your email and I'll send a few adx files to try.

Got the .ADX file for the 93 Corvette fixed, with the help from Robert.

PM me if you need the file.

i had some similar issues with a LT-1 Fbody donor swap.

I was able to resolve the problem by resetting the connection **AFTER** starting the car.

For me, and my 2 transistor DIY cable, after i start the car, the silence command needs to be resent.

Just got the new .ADX file from James93LT1. I have a 1993 Trans Am I'm trying to tune and I was having the same problem in TP5 with numbers dancing all over the place. Everything seems to work fine with this new ADX, but what are the differences between the Corvette and the F-bodies when it comes to these files? Are there any?

The last ADX I used from the site had an option to choose F-body or Corvette.

I beleive it's the digatal dash in the Corvette. I have one that works in F body, shoot me your email. Or just take out the CCM command...
