I have a problem. I'd like to copy an aftermarket chip for a weber marelli ECU. The "original" software is located on a 27218 not a 27C128. I don't know if this matters. I can read the chip allrigt. I've red it with Moates usb autoprom and willem parallel eprom programmer. Reports no read error, but when i try to burn the software back to the new chip (27sf512) it burn it allright, but it won't verify. and the car won't start with the new chip. I also tried with a eprom 27c512 and the same error. (burned with willem) I think i hva the offsets ok since autoprom software aumaticly sets the correct offset compared to the bin files size. (compared it with the offset table)
I like to think that this is a small issue, and that this can be esaily fixed. Please advice.
