Newbie: 1994Cadillac SLS 16197429 BKFX have .bin Need .xdf

Post by med »

Hello:

I just read the PROM out of a junk yard 1994 SLS with Northstar. I want to try to figure these OBD1 things for this car. I have a 1994 STS, and access to more PCMs from these years. The Broadcast code on the file is BKFX and the number on the PCM is 16197429. The .bin file is about 65Kb long with lots of zero and about 44,570 bytes of actual code. Did anyone ever figure out the definitions for these cars? Are they available? or Should I just give up. How do I get the .bin on the net for others to look at. I'm new here, so be honest  .

I'm not aware of a definition for that vehicle. The mask is unknown for that PCM, and there's not much information available for it.

We are working towards it, but for now trying to get OBD2 done first, I will let you know when we get something going....

Where are you located?

Can you send me the .bin? Maybe more than one person working on it can help.

Get Tunerpro RT and a Realtime Emulator.
I will get you going after that. I will dig up all your spare PCM's and get the memcal off for you. I will need you to read them and send the bins back to me. I should have the 96 to 99 stuff soon and I think that will help on the 93 to 95 cals.
