AP_E_INVALID_RESPONSE

Post by tarmac »

Hi Guys,

I have just got the roadrunner and tried to use it with TunerPro RT and EmUtility. Both don't seem to want to upload the files that I have.

Here is an example of the error I get with EmUtility
-----------------------
Detecting Hardware...

Found: Roadrunner USB v12.14.R
Writing 0x100000 bytes from file address 0x00 to emulator address 0x00 (Backfill)...
FAILURE: Emu write failed with AP_E_INVALID_RESPONSE
-----------------------

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Have you downloaded the latest version of EmUtility? Most likely the hardware security is set incorrectly, or does not match what TunerPro/EmUtility expects.

The latest version of EmUtility should set the security at startup, alleviating this issue.

Hi there, thanks for the reply.

That above error was with the latest version of EmUtility, I then tried the windows 98 version (I am using XP SP2) and it actually worked, well worked in that it wrote it without any errors.

I then tried it in my ECU but it had not worked, my ECU could not read the data...

Excuse my ignorance, but what is the hardware security? is this something I can change etc or is this something that Moates would have put on?

cheers

Hi Mark, I'm having the same issue with my Roadrunner not accepting uploads from tunerpro or EmUtility.

Do you have any suggestions for troubleshooting?

Thanks,

This issue has been fixed. New build of emutility is up on the site.
