reseting rev limiter on a DA2 file. fuel cutoff and resume ?

I want to modify my fuel cutoff on my LT1 to account for some new mods.

Anyways, I have the following options:

fuel cutoff speed (a vehicle speed): this is set to 255 MPH - which I will never achieve

fuel cutoff 1st gear (eng speed): 6300
fuel cutoff 2nd gear (eng speed) 6300
fuel cutoff 3 thru 6th gear (Eng speed): 6300

fuel resume (vehicle speed): 255 mph

fuel resume 1st gear (eng speed): 6200
fuel resume 2nd gear (eng speed): 6200
fuel resume 3 thru 6th gear (eng speed): 6200

My question is what are the fuel resume speeds for ?

Im imagining if I kept my foot planted firmly on the gas pedal(and didnt remove it), my car would do the following:
1. hit 6300 RPM,
2. cut off
3. then once the rpm's fell to 6200 RPM, the engine would come back to life
4. hit 6300 RPM again
5, etc. repeat the same process...

Is my line of thinking on this correct?
