Newbie with delco tuning question

Post by snellehenkie »

I'm new in the delco ecu's.
By motronic you have fuel maps for idle, part throtlle and WOT.
This is the same by the Ignition maps.
But how does it works by DELCO?
I have done some working on the dyno yesterday on a vauxhall astra C1.4SE with delco ecu.
I have a original diagnostic equipment from vauxhall and WinOLS with a OLS300 trace-emulator.
I have found several maps:
- Idle Ignition;
- Main Ignition;
- Idle Fuel;
- Main Fuel;
- And some other maps which are changing when i change the coolant and charge sensor.
I found yesterdayevening the website www.delcohacking.net.
After studing the Holden files I found out that the map which i thought it is main fuel that it is Volumetric Efficiency map.
What does this mean? Can somebody tell me what i need too change when i tune this delco ecu?
I doesn't understand the structure from de delco.
Motronic use the part throttle map with the lambda and when you go too WOT the the motronic switch too this map without lambda.
But I found lambda-maps in de delco ecu and how does the work under WOT?

And where are the y- and x-axis maps for the maps?

I hope somebody can give me a push in the right way :idea:
