$32 is for '86 and only '86. Perhaps the definition header is wrong. No big deal.

Make sure you have the 10K resistor in place, as this is required for the ECM to dump the 160 baud data.

can you provide a link for the 32 file everyone i find i install and it says its for 1989

i just havent had much luck. moates.net said try 6E but the 10k on allows me to connect to the ecm but they say turn it off afterwards because while connected to 10k my car runs really rich i mean very very like 154 blm and idle is higher, if i click off the 10k the car runs normal but then all my readings are jumping up n down and tweaking out.

and all my readings are worthless

moates said teh ecm is too slow(160) for tunerpro which likes the 8091 or whatever that value is for bit rate

they suggest i change my chip to 1989 to get faster response but i dont want to spend anymore money i already spent 90 on teh stupid cable

Yes, it will say it's for '89. This is because 86-89 shared basically the same 160 baud data. This will work with TunerPro.

thanks i have that one. now you just confirmed its what i need which is good

and i have used it

still makes my car idle very high and cause my blm to be 150-154.

anyone know how much is a cheap but decent scanner?

moates wanted me to buy either burning equipment to get the faster ecm chip or pay 150 to get one made, no thanks

but tahnks anyway guys not really sure what else i can do since im using what im supposed to be

At 160 baud, any scanner will cause the same problem - the 10K needs to be in place to dump ALDL data. With 8192, you can remove the 10K once things connect up.

Well, I can tell you that fuel delivery is not one of the things that the 10K resistor affects. It affects idle, and spark. You can remove the spark adder by modifying the bin.

Sounds like you're about ready to get into real tuning.
