I know there are people who are successfully burning (erased) 27c256 chips, so please don't simply be a nay-sayer.
I have the APU1 & (of course) TP/RT.
I can successfully read chips, save bins, open & modify the bins...
Now, I have been somewhat blind on more than one occasion, so it's not a huge surprise to me that today when I came home to try to figure this out I noticed the "read only" note for my chip(s)...
Can I "fool" the APU1 by telling it that it would be burning to another chip type - and changing the start & end hex address to compensate?
If you are going to ask, I have verified my chips are in fact erased.
Help please!
