153 injector constant?

Post by thermans »

Hi,

I was emulating with my autoprom on a e30 with a 153 dme today, but changing the injector constants(why are there more than one?) didnt make any effect to the opening times. Can anyone explain this?
I used the 153 xdf from tunerpro website.

it will effect opening times, you got to tune all values down in both. Motronic is wierd, it has dual values that you got to tune both. However I don't like to tune for bigger injectors via constat. I recommend tuning it by lowering the values in "AFM map scale factors"
02 sensor has to be disconnected when tuning, once the tuning is done, reconnect 02 sensor.

ok, i never changed all at the same time, i´ll try that.. why not tune injector constant instead of Afm map scale? yes i have the O2 sensor disconnected.
Just waiting for tunerpro v5 and adress tracing now...

get a 173 box it is better. You can even get box 380, 525 or 524 and use 173 bin file.
