Regarding 318i/is Bin Files & Defs

Post by BavarianMotorWorks »

All posted software for the e36 318i/is models can be used with any 318i/is ECU from 92-95. I'm unsure of how to find the checksum value for these software's however you will see a check engine light but it will have no effect on your tuning

wide open fuel for softwares start's at 4000rpm, me & revlimit are working to figure out the full WOT maping for these softwares. It's proving to be difficult ... stay tuned!

Because these cars have Throttle sensor potentiometer istead of switch it may be that WOT fuel map is the high part throttle map. This can be figured out with ostrich2 using address watch, you watch the high part throttle map and see if the tracing is still there under high RPM and WOT, if the trace is still there than that is your WOT map.

The feature is coming "automatically" in version 5. Revlimit is a v5 beta tester.

Stay tuned for that...

I feel bad asking but would it be possible to try out a beta version? I'm very curious as to what door's can be open with Vr5.
