Ostrich 2

Hi there people ,

I have both the Rommulator 2 and Ostrich 2 emulators.

The rommulator works on my ECU but the Ostrich doesnt

I can upload and verify the file to the Ostrich but the ECU does not start up .

I noticed that the red stripe on the ostich header goes to pin 1 (a15) but on the rummulator the red stripe goes to Vss (+5v) - pin 28

My ecu is a motronic ECU with 8051 processor and 27C512 (plcc) rom.

I use a adapter from Winslow Adaptics which convers from 28pin dil to 32 pin plcc

*** Note - When scrolling thru the "banks" in tuner pro I did get a bit of movement on the throttle body and fuel pump which tells me that there is some sort off communication.

Any suggestions at all ?

Also , when ever i make a change and upload from tunerpro to the emulator (rommulator in this case) the throttle body looses it's calibration .

this makes the car run rich AFR's - possible due to fault code from loss of adaption.

any ideas ?
