checksum help

ok i am having trouble with the checksum. i keep getting the rapid ses light. i have tried disabling with no luck. the xdf file says 0x4 to 0xFFF but that doesnt work either. what am i doing wrong?

i am using a ostrich and 4e.xdf. it does the same with key on/off uploads.

So you've tried uploading 0xAA to the mask ID byte, and that didn't help? Are you sure the car isn't in limp home mode in general (perhaps something else in the bin is incorrect)? What makes you believe the checksum is the problem?
