BMW -413 DME Axis descriptors?

Post by olafu »

Hi!

Have anyone a list of 3.3.1 map axis descriptors?

I already have some:

D0 = RPM
D2 = RPM negative delta?
D3 = Intake air temp
D5 = Load, filtered
D6 = Load, unfiltered
D7 = Coolant temp
D8 = B+ voltage
CC = Throttle position

Is these correct?
At least chip number 609, 623 and 965 seems share similar descriptors..

Thanks!
EDIT: Some additions

I think:
D6 = TPS

Didn't found what D3 & D4 are...

I think CC is TPS, because it is used in MAF fault table.

By the way, what that "vanos dwell table" actually means? I did some research with 2channel scopemeter and manually switching vanos valve on and off.. There is lots of oil temp and pressure related lag in vanos travel, and i think that mystery dwell map has something to do with this. That's reason why i think D6 as some kind temperature. I didn't try to edit that dwell map yet, but it is similar in all three 413 dme bins what i have. (2 different stock -623 bins and one -609)

Sorry offtopic: That vanos lag does vanos almost useless in "aggressive driving", or i have something broken in my vanos system. It doesn't leak, but it moves approximately 2 seconds from end to end in ~1000rpm and in ~5000rpm that travel takes 1 second. Is this normal in M50B25TU?

I'm just getting my Ostrich 2 to do some experiences..

EDIT: D5 and D6 both are load related. I don't know what differences they have.

EDIT2: D6 looks like it's raw load signal, and D5 is filtered.
