Help - Ostrich and TunerPro

Post by Turbosport »

Hi I am a little stuck, I have just started to play with the ostrich and tunerpro but I cant emulate a file correctly.

I am trying to emulate a 27C64 I have read the chip in Intel Binary format and have sent the image to the ostrich and then verified it the car dosnt start, also if I read the emulator from a Eprom reader the resultant file is not the same.

I have checked the jumbers in the ostrich and these are correct.

Any ideas ?

I have just also noticed that if I read the emulator back to file the contents are completely different to the original file.

I have a bin from a 27C64 Chip, but it I send the bin to the emulator and read it back to a file the bin dosnt look anything like the original, so I think I may have my offsets wrong.

In the XDF header I am using bin Size hex = 2000 Offset = 0000

When I download bin to file i set the Chip Size to 8k

Is there somthing I am missing ?

OK progress, if I download from the emulator from address E01C to FFFF then I get the correct file.

So I assume my file is only 1FE3 long (FFFF - E01C)

How do I get Tuner pro to emulate this file in the right piece of memory so the car will start ?
