exhaust back pressure correction function

Post by David Claflin »

Does anyone know what does this do?? Is there any point in manipulating the numbers??
I've got two XDF's an older version and a newer one. The newer one has all the values as the same whereas the older one has different values.
Any reason for this?

It is used in the exhaust pressure calculation (PFE EGR) to compensate for exhaust pressure only increasing at half the rate that barometric pressure increases. You should not need change this as it is a correction that Ford derived from pressure chamber experiments.
