The COM port is opened when you hit the connect button. Setting up the port in the device manager doesn't do anything useful for you, since the software itself initializes the port with the information it needs (baud, byte format, parity, etc). Make sure nothing else has the COM port open when you ...

This should be possible. How do you know that TunerPro can't open the COM port? Because my Bluetooth adapter doesnent confirm a connection(LED) as it does, when I open Hyperterminal(only open hyperterm, not sending anything). i'm pretty sure TP doesnt connect aldl bluetooth devices. It tries, (LED ...

to get data from more than one device into a single instance of tunerpro, you would need to write your own datalogging plugin i would think. after that, i'm really not sure how you would setup a single ADX to react properly to two simultaneous streams.... ahh tooo bad.. somebody knows another tool ...

can't say i've ever tried it, but open up two instances of tunerpro RT V5, set the ports correctly and load the definitions that apply to whatever you're logging and try that. not bad ;) but dont you think that you get data from only one device in each logging file/window? That would be the same as...

.ori files are typically .bin files and not .hex files. I don't use hex files but, from memory, if your vag msa15 file is a true .hex file then you will need to open in it up in a hex editor to find out the offset and size. that i what i was trying the last 5 minutes. i think the last offset is &qu...

You haven't yet told me what tool of theirs you're using? You're still leaving out the big picture. As mentioned earlier tin this thread, you can import hex files from the file->import menu. I am using "CATS Hex Binary File COnverter", because i failed with simple importing. If i import m...

I must be missing something. If you're using software from TunerCat, please seek out support from TunerCat. They're essentially a (friendly) competitor, so you'll understand (or maybe you won't) why it's not in my interest to answer questions about a competitor's software. If you're using my softwa...
