I have worked with my '165 ECM with 6E for years, now I'm attempting to tune a 95 LT1.
I have the wide band O2 pinned in the A/C pressure input for data logging and have the BLM's locked at 128.
I see it uses MAF and MAP. since the MAF meter is unchanged I'm thinking use the map table to tune. If this is incorrect PLEASE set me straight.
After several hours of studying the bin definition I feel these items is where I should focus for fuel.
Volumetric efficiency vs RPM vs MAP
Volumetric efficiency vs RPM vs MAP extended
For power enrichment,
%Change to fuel/air ratio vs coolant temp at WOT
%Change to fuel/air ratio vs RPM at WOT
If my thinking is too "6E" ish please advise.
Also, while data logging I'm getting a lot of flickering(for lack of a better word) where the values on the TP dash jump anywhere from minimum to maximum and then back to normal.
I sure hate having to make a change reflash the PCM make another change, reflash again..........
I must say the Ostrich has spoiled me with the real time tuning.
