New guy here , still a bit lost , but it always was way more fun groping around in the dark. I'm doing a 55 Chevy build with a 95 V6 Astro motor and the 16197427 ECM ; I need to do some tweaking , and other than a laptop and no fear of the unknown , I'll need to start from scratch . Looks like your Tunerpro is the answer to hacking this ECM . The donor vehicle was a 95 Astro van with 4L60E trans , and I've installed the engine with a 4-speed , so I'll need to dump all the auto trans inputs , the A/C , the cruise , the airbags and the ABS inputs ; thank God it doesn't have anti-theft crap on it (VATS) . I'm keeping most of the emissions stuff , as I want this baby to mileage coast to coast next year. Hope I'm in the right place ; so far , it looks promising . Be safe...Bob.
