I have a 1990 L98 Corvette, TPI, 6sp man, 1227730 ARFP mask. I have tried the following:

ARFP.Bin
arfp8d.bin
8D.xdf
corvette_90b.adx
8D.adx
1227730_8D.adx
A115.adx

Do you have a different file I can try or a combination of files that will work?

Correct, no more flashing red error, but the DA: will say connected even when the ALDU1 is not plugged into the computer.
