Which is better for ripping the .bin from my ecu?Consult or VAG-COM?I know vag-com is way more expensive that consult..

Hey all
Im trying to make an .xdf for the said motronic 9.5.10,vw golf 1.4L...I intend to buy a Cunsult cable to get the .bin from my ecu.I read the whitepaper on making definitions from a hack?But a little confused.HOw do I go about doing this?Any where to rad this info?
