I had the same problem and arrived at the same solution. But It doesn't work right when editing cells by the corrected values. So I came here looking for a cleaner solution. For now I can just edit the hex directly. I am using "CELL(ROW()+1;0;FALSE)-X*FACTOR+OFFSET" in each row with "...
