Tuning a Nissan OBD1 ECU using B13/S13, possibly Xtronics

Post by APItuning »

Hoping to tune above ECU that has dual Roms.

Are the 2 chips a primary and secondary? If so, can I tune using a single Moates on the "primary", maybe regularly burning the "secondary" as I progress through the tune.

If I can't tune with a single Moates, I have 2 Xtronics Romulators. Sorry if I missed it, but does TunerPro support the Xtronics Romulator? If so, can I use them to tune in dual mode?

Thanks.

Yes, the Xtronics Romulator is supported in Tunerpro, and works in dual mode (which can be enabled in preferences for the emulation plug-in).

Is there a base tune bin file for a 92 Nissan with the dual chip ECU?

Do I burn the 2 chips with same bin file when I'm finished tuning?

Thanks.
