logging values are "stair stepped"

Post by hotrodssnova »

I am trying to get my logged values to line up. Is there a way to do this? below is an example:
Image

In the first 16 rows, it looks like tp pulled info from some memory location. I haven't ever logged those values shown.
there is no way an engine can boost 19.86 psi at an rpm of 1031. and you will notice my tps is showing 42.35%. thats false also.
I started this log in the driveway, engine warmed up, and pushed the log button.
Am I missing a setting here?
any help would be great!

Wrong definition file for the vehicle, or an incorrect definition file.

The values that are reported below the first 16 rows are correct. The guages show correctly in the dashboard, and the data is reported correctly down further in the log.
With the first rows all a miss, it throws the rest of the log off. Some rows are off by 16 cells, some are off by 10 cells, some start off right where they should. If the definition file was bad, wouldn't I be getting absurd readings across all columns?
