inconsistency in logging data

Post by pagprivat »

Hello, newbie in need of some help...

I'm using TunerproRT V5, logging on a Buell XB bike. Most works OK, communication looks to be fine (at least downloading bin, I've also made minor mods and uploaded, that works OK)

The problem is with datalogging, sometimes it seems that communication goes crazy and peaking in all directions, frequency seems to be random. Sometimes all needles go crazy every second or so, sometimes everything is fine for 10-15 sec. The bike operates normally when this happen, so it seems impossible that this is "real" data, but rather some communication hiccups. (The dashboard also shows same peaks when looking at it live.) I use the correct xdf and adx.

The laptop isn't the newest, but well within the spec of TP, and running W7.

Any help to sort this would be much appreciated. I'm thinking there must be some adjustment of some sort I haven't got right?

Thanks :)[/img]

Outstanding, exactly what I was looking for! That took care of 99% of the problems. Still have a couple of wild spikes over a 1/2 hr logging ride, I guess it is a matter of "finetuning" the 20ms a little.

Thanks a million for fast reply and pointing me in the right direction!
