MSS54hpcsl positive displacement supercharged

Post by Greenday694 »

Hello, as it says above, I have a CSL converted DME and a 2003 M3 with a Eaton m122 supercharger.
I can very slowly step on the accelerator with no problems. But if I go from closed throttle up to 20 or 30%, it goes extremely rich, stumbling misfiring, for a couple seconds, then it will accelerate. 20% throttle increase, afrs down in the 9s.
I have quite a bit of experience with the older 413 motronic units, but I am completely lost with this thing. Is there some type of acceleration enrichment table or from what I've been told there's a few of them?
And is there a very basic definition file?
I have been using quick Flash, with a tuner. He uses winols. But since we've been struggling with this, I would like to give it a try with tuner Pro.
Thanks

Well since I haven't gotten any replies yet, maybe I can be a little more specific about the help I need.
The biggest problem that I've been having so far is the engine going extremely rich on the initial throttle input. I don't mean very slightly increasing the throttle which is only operating the idle control valve up to about 2500. But going from 0% throttle up to 10 or 20% throttle and even further. Example going from 0% throttle to about 20%, gives an AFR reading of 9 to 1. The engine will hesitate and sometimes even stall with a little puff of black smoke out the exhaust. If I start at 20%, that wants to stall the engine, and then increase right away to about 60% it will stumble misfire and then accelerate.
So it appears as though the acceleration enrichment is turned way up. But I have no idea how to get into that part of the DME to see if I can reduce it enough so that it works.
Even going from 0% throttle to 100% throttle, it will bog, misfire, hesitate, for about one or 1.5 seconds, and then accelerate the way it should.
Idle is smooth. Steady cruise down the road, afrs right around 14.7, no problem. Throttle Delta even at highway speed, still dips down very rich causing some stumbling and misfiring, then clears up and accelerates.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Before I yank it out and go with a standalone. I would much rather keep the factory ECU if I could.
