Ostrich Data Tracing

Post by omad »

For the life of me I cannot get this working. I have tried changing com ports, re-installing and even on another laptop. I press the little "A" button on the table and it does nothing. Just says "waiting" in the status bar of the table.

laptop 1 winXP SP3

laptop 2 win7

Edit - also "upgraded" the firmware. It was already on version 20.9 but i d/l from moates and upgraded anyway.

HELP??

Also, this is on a Mitsubishi Galant (DSM) 28 pin chip/computer

Your ECU may not work in a way that allows the ostrich to detect hits. Perhaps it buffers its tables to RAM and accesses the data directly from that (instead of from ROM)? Perhaps it has unusual access patterns. There are quite a few similar reasons that could cause this.

TunerPro simply listens to the Ostirch. This is unlikely to be a bug. Moving the post.
