I've got two different cars I do scans on. One is a Vette with L98 TPI, the other is a Firebird with LO3 TBI.
I can export my TPI data to excel and read the data to graph.
But when I export my TBI data to excel. There is no data.
I'm assuming that's just the way it is? Or is there a way around that? Maybe there is a different definition I could use for TBI LO3?
I did notice my TBI scans doesn't provide alot of data compared to my TPI scans. And the "ALDL Dash" and "ALDL Monitors" tabs don't show any data in my TBI scans.
My TPI scans shows things like timing, EGR and some other things that my TBI scans don't show. And in playback, my TBI scan plays back in slow motion compared to the TPI. But maybe that is just due to the different in computers.
TBI scan data doesn't export to Excel

the lack of values and playback speed is explained by the very small and slow 160 baud stream that the L03 ECM pushes out compared to the 8192 baud stream the L98's ECM uses.
why it won't export.... that may be a bug, is this V4 or V5?
the dash and monitors? someone just likely never set them up in the ADS/ADX.

I would like to be able to transfer the data on the LO3 to Excel. It will export and open up an excel page. But not show any numbers.
So, the L03's computer doesn't send out as much data like the L98 with regards to spark advance, EGR, etc?

that is correct, the L03 datastream is very sparse compared to say $6E or $8D.
as for not exporting..... can't say i've run across that, since i've managed to grab a few 160 baud logs before, they all exported as they should have... mark or another member may have more info on it though, it's been quite some time since i've dealt with one.
