1228747 ECU file..

Post by 7Point4 »

I am in the process of creating a 1228747 ecu file for use with TunerPro, and will also try and get the ALDL portion to work right. Am presently using WinALDL, which works, but only on the 1227747 setting. All the bits and things are not exactly the same.

If anyone has already made one of these, please let me know and save me some work. :) If not, I will continue. Am using mostly the AUMU hack with AYKK for verification.

Thanks.

If I can help in any way I'm in. I have an 8747 in my rig. I have never seen any hacks for the 8747. Where did you find them? I am doing the same as you using the 7747 for Winaldl. Maybe we could break it up and work different parts of it. So count me in if you'd like some help. I've actually got a dually in the shop right now, that a customer put an edelbrock port fuel intake, but still uses the 8747. I've almost got it running well. I just have a little problem with the cold running. Before you get the Oxygen up to temp, it has a surging idle that can turn into a stall. I thought I had it fixed by cleaning up the ve table, but it needs more. It seems to want to go into close loop too soon - o2 not ready. I'm thinking of puting a three wire o2 in, but I'm trying to figure out how to stay in open loop longer, or at least until the o2 is ready. I understand the closed loop operation pretty well now, the cold start I'm still working on.

Okay. I have it done. Also created an .ads file for it also, using the setup for light duty emissions.

Let me try it out this week and double check it yet again for errors, and will release it to the wild then, i guess.

I forget where I found the hacks, but I have them in a zip file somewhere, let me find them and will email them to you or give you a link to them.

Let me say that it is not easy making an ECU file. Not hard, but ALOT of typing and calculator work. :)

 Ok, I am back in the world of the living. I'm all moved into our new home. I have my own project room for a couple months. Until my two daughters show up in October.
I see that Mark has made some more changes to tunerpro in connection with aldl stuff, so you must be doing something right. I've now got time to spend, and a place to do it. Sorry, I got sidetracked. I'm back at it.

Here for at least a while....Marcello.

I'd like to take a look at that hack if it's still around. Not urgent but I'd like to make a good xdf file for it.

I have the XDF that I have been using, if you want it to start from. Converted it from the ECU file that I had made.

Still a couple of things that I can not get to scale right, but it is usable. Been using it actually.

Can send the xdf and ads, and the hacks. just let me know.

So, does this ecu or xdf file exist?

Top link is the disassembly that I have. I did not do these, but used in them in creating the .ecu file.

Bottom link is the actual xdf file. Was created from the ecu file that I had made. I have been using it, but as always, keep an eye on the changes you make. :)
