Hi friends,

I want to map a motronic M1.3 ecu (Peugeot 405 1,9L 120 bhp).
Can anybody help me with checksum-correction for this ecu?

Can I run a checksum 8 bit over the hole file (original) and than over the mod map and than I only change on the lot "FF" bins, so that the original checksum will fit?

Does anybody know more about the old motronic checksum-algorithm?

Yes you want to in effect balance out or figure out the algorithym for the file checksum is not needed to make car run though for that ecu
