whoever knows what I can change RPM scalar? Stock maps end 6400RPM so I must rise axis this map above 7300RPM but how?? I`ve done similar it in Digifant, its`easy on this type ECU

You can expand maps, increase the load and rpm scale in any Motronic ecu. But it is confusing because you got to calculate backwards, On all motronics, RPM and LOAD scalers are located before the maps, so you will have to add those in the XDF and tune from there. But most tuners do not touch this because the time you will spend past 6000 rpm is so short that there is no real point of expanding it. Ecu will just use the last known value when going high rpm than that.

I would like try change it because now I`ve very hard camshaft, so max power it`s above end RPM on the map. If you can help me with this I will be glad

so if i absolutly had to expand the maps to 7k i would have to edit the .xds file and add 7000 to all the lines/maps ect that i wanted to expand, for example from the 413.xds

040360 YLabels =680,880,1120,1320,1600,2000,2200,2480,2920,3280,3640,4000,4600,5320,6080,6400,7000

i add accordingly?

or can i just try to create a .ECU and raise it from the get go?

LOL!!! What the heck are you talking about?

i think i figured it out.....

That is old. Now we use XDF files. And now you can't expand motronic maps, that way.

ya i saw that.. im using the redlabel 413.xdf, do you know how to edit the xdf file becuase when you open it, it says clearly on the first line do not edit by hand...

you load it into tunerpro and you edit it there. Play with the tunerpro software you will figure it out

thx i figured it out but didnt even bother extending it cuz really and truly ur right after 6400-7000 the time is so little even in high gears it never knocks/pings at all. ;-)

New version of Tunerpro 5 has a feature to adjust RPM and LOAD scales, and displayes them correctly. What needs to be done is all XDFs in the download section will need rework.
