I can't seem to get any meaningful numbers to show up in the maps when I load the GUFB definition and the A9L bin file to get accustomed to the tunerpro software. I want to use this software to tune my fox body, so can anyone help a n00b with this stupid question? There's got to be something really simple I am doing wrong. When I load up tunerpro RT, I first select the XDF file and then open the bin file. I guess it is possible to have a corrupt XDF or bin file, so what else could be the problem?
Also, I want to use an ostrich 2.0 to tune my car in real time without having to burn chips. It seems like the fordemu isn't available anymore now that the quarterhorse exists. Is there another way to hook the ostrich up to my ECU without the fordemu? I need an ostrich to tune my hondas, and it would be nice to be able to tune the Mustang in without having to burn the chip each time I want to make a change in the tune.
I suggest contacting Moates and asking about the FordEMU, I'd be surprised if they weren't available even though they have disappeared from the website.
I didn't get much of a reception when I called Moates. The guy on the phone didn't really want to talk about anything other than saying I should buy both a Demon for my hondas and a Quarterhorse for the Mustang. I just got vibes from that guy that he thought I was stupid and ignorant. I really don't like doing business with people like that.
eh I just broke down and ordered both a Demon and Quarterhorse LOL
thanks for the help guys.
I'm still wondering what definition file you guys use with tunerpro. The GUFB.xdf I found would only load up garbage when I tried to load the A9L.bin file.
