Slightly off topic, how difficult would it be to port tuner pro over to a tablet or phone? If we can connect to the ostrich2 via bluetooth no cables and tablet tuning would be interesting. I dont program so I have no idea how difficult it would be. Just a thought.
I haven't connected via BT in years, there always seemed to a longer delay for upload verification that seemed to cause more errors than when using a USB cable. I quickly tried a few weeks ago to connect via BT, but didn't give it much effort, I think there was a setting change that I'm forgetting about to enable it.
The Tablet and portable question has been asked and suggested for years, according to Mark, it's just not going to happen, at least for anything other than a full Windoze based OS. A tablet running Win8 should be able to run TP, but I have not tried it myself to confirm that.
please could you someone tell me what is the serial port baudrate?
when tunerpro connect ostrich v2 with usb what is the baudrate?
(osctrich use FT232RL usb to serial connection chip)
Im try over bluetooth 9600 and 38400 bps
no connection
tunerpro check hardware and didnt connect to bluetooth module
bluetooth port com10
For my own AutoProm, which functions essentially the same as the Ostrich, I exclusively use Bluetooth, so I know it works. I believe the module I use is from BlueRadios (the ones Moates used to sell a few years back).
I have not tried Bluetooth with the Ostrich.
Edit: Just chatted with Moates. He said Bluetooth works with the Ostrich. He recommends a Elechouse module.

Note that you'll likely have to configure it, so you'll need the appropriate hardware (USB/TTL) to send it the proper AT commands to do so. I don't have experience with it myself, so I won't be of much help.
