Please tell us what you are using for an ALDL Cable, PC, and have you installed the drivers from MOATES.NET?

Do you desire to read the data stream at 160 baud or 8192 baud? The file looks to be a 160 baud. 8192

If I may make a comment, I see you have a 1987 Y-car. I would suggest you UPDATE the calibration and software to a 1989. All the best for that ECM are housed within the 89 MY. If you send me a PM with email, I can send you an 89 calibration/software that will load to a prom, tuner pro files that function for that MY as well.
I need to know if your 87 5.7L is Auto or Manual and axle ratio for the right cal.
