I'm new here. Sorry for my bad english I'm from Italy.
I've worked myself into the matter ecu tuning with the software TunerPro RT a bit.
Great software.
But there is still much to learn.
I have a problem with the Rev limiter on my Golf G60. Digifant ECU. I would like to set it to 7500rpm. (Engine has been made for this is not a problem).
If I change the address 4456-4457 I only get to a speed of 6400Rpm.
I think there must still be a limiter in the ecu.
I also have the tables increased to 8000 .No improvement.

You must be talking about the 3 timing map chip.

Rev limiter is at $???? and is a 16 bit = $11E0 = 6556 RPM
Boost limiter is at $???? and is 16 bit = $1480 = 5716 RPM

$4456 = RPM for fuel cut = $12C0 = 6250 RPM

It works.
It's nice to sing the engine over 7000rpm to hear.
