Aha, I see the need for the plugin to talk to my logger interface..

Since it's a variation of the sube and there's no sube plugin to modify I'm kind of fugged..

Ok, off to figure out some way of doing this, TP or not.

Thanks for the help.

The ECU is a bastard child, from a sled.. Some of the stuff is similar to Subaru (select monitor hardware interface), some is similar to Nissan (added port for write enable), and something similar to the nistune add on is what I'm using. Unfortunately, although the select monitor hardware is compati...

Capability of witing via the ALDL?

Ok, I had to set tuner pro aside for a while because of issues with it not being compatible with my logger setup, but today I've downloaded the latest version, and if it does what it says (baud, parity, etc..) it should work fine. Since my last visit, I've found a compatible writable chip to place i...

...TunerPro for Droid? I've found a hardware solution that will allow me to take my tuning project wireless, and if TunerPro was Droid compatible, then the computer could be gone from the equation.. (at least the computer would be home logging what my droid sends to it from the road) Android OS is t...

Ran across my ostrich and cable tonight, so I loaded the matched bin/xdf included with TP5, and it uploaded and downloaded fine.

Ok, I guess I'm going jump in here and say that I've also been completely un-successful in downloading a bin from my ostrich2.. My bin is 32k, and I can load and use all 8 spots on it, but trying to read the bins back from it never works. Whatever I'm getting back from the ostrich does not match any...

The Ostrich2 can be used to emulate Ford eec-iv and eec-v roms when used with the FordEMU adapter. A major limitation is lack of datalogging though so it is maybe worth looking at the Quarterhorse emulator/datalogger. You will need to find out what 'catch' code your ecu's are to establish their res...

Stone cold rookie needs a few pointers to get started with..

Ok, I got my other project with tuner pro under control. Now I'm on to my Fords, a 95 Explorer and a 02 Sable. I know the Exploder is an EEC IV, but where do I go from there? (need some more juice in this for towing, mebbe a switch to have an economizer mode as well) I think the Sable is an EEC V, h...

Baud rates..

As well as being able to set the baud rate, can you enable the ability to change the parity? The ECU I'm working with uses "even" parity, and all tuner-pro or scanner-pro are capable of is "none" parity. BTW, scanner-pro is capable of lower baud rates than the 2400 it states is t...

I'm anxiously awaiting the capability of tracing on my machine with the lower baud rates!!! I even registered for the "elevacceleration" effect. (pushing the elevator button constantly in hopes that the elevator will arrive faster) Mebbe a couple other donations will encourage th...

The minimum baud rate for ScannerPro is 2400, but the baudrate for the logger I'm using is lower. Can the baud rate for v5 go down to 1200?

After getting an adx file to work with ScannerPro and my logger, will TunerPro 5 import it or will it require creating the file all over again?

Ok, that got me to the right port, but still no communication with the logger... It fails the 'test communication', and experimenting with the logging monitors, it doesn't show data returned unless I unplug the device. I exported the captures to csv, and one had 0,0,0,0,0,-40,-40, etc,etc.... Anothe...

Thanks! I spent 2 hours Saturday going through every menu I could find, and I'd swear I checked there. (too bad ALDL stuff doesn't show up under "auto-detect" like the emu hardware does.. ;)) Anyway, I'll try that this afternoon when I head out there again, and see if it works... (I know t...

Setting up ALDL questions.

Greetings, As I'm digging in and learning Tunerpro, I'm appreciative of its capabilities. But there's something I seem to be missing. First off, a couple of you guys may recognize me from around, but those who don't, I'm working on a Snowmobile ECU. So I essentially started at zero. After quite a bi...
