Are you sure the xdf is made for your version of firmware. They have to match exact location of data offsets.

You should view with 16 bytes in a row. The data is there and it is same tables of data. You should 1 offset the file so the index of tables table locations are correct. 2 used the index of table information to know where every table begins 3 If you do not already know, learn the Motronic axis label...

Interesting read. Googles translation works pretty well. I like the better explanation of the vin in hex code. I may try the software to get info from ROM and see if it uncovers anything. I'd rather it show the location, original hex, and then the resolved value. Then it's a complete translation too...

see That Hurxkens and adhamkhe have the same map locations and the data is completely different I think there is a version of BIN and version of XDF mismatch somewhere. Internal location markers in the ROM indicate the ROMs should start offset to x8000. I do not think any of the public 402 bins/xdfs...

I played with making a patch in TP to see what it was like. Bit of a hassle but can be made. I used the MAF calibration as my test subject. Color me surprised. NO PRIMING is the correct answer. Something else is running for ~1 second at key on and clicking off. Multimeter only showed power to pump when cranking. What method do you use for scaling. Did you scale the load axis or did you scale/compress the data that has a load axis to the lower load side?

Update this was not the pump sounds it was something else. no prime at key on I have m50tu car. No rear seat. I can hear something come on when key turned to on. Could be set time only. Pumping is not audible. A relay that turns on is and, ~1sec a click/clunk sound can be heard. Key on, relay clicks...
