Thanks Mark. Now, I just need to figure out how to get WinALDL to work with a USB to Serial adapter...

Data logging, especially BLM values

I am getting back to a tuning project on a 1227747 ECM on my Jeep. I have used WINALDL to log data which is nice because it displays a matrix of the BLM values versus MAP and RPM so you can drive so as to fill in the array. A couple of questions to all "you" out there... With Tuner Pro RT,...

Yes, 98 has many problems, which is why I did switch to 2000 (can't run XP beacuse of other software compatibility).

Glad you were able to track down my problem Mark. Thanks!

This sounds very much like the bug I was reporting in a different thread. The general protection fault occurred in USER.EXE. I never tied it to switching between tasks though. I can't try to help on this anymore :( I "upgraded" to Windows 2000 (for other compatiblity reasons) and TunerPro ...

Yeah. Reproducibility is everything in debugging. It mostly happens on my Laptop under Windows 98. I suspect a recent installation of the newest EPROMER6 software hosed some system files which might be the real culprit. Other software is unstable now, too on my laptop. I had one crash under XP, agai...

Thanks Mark.

I am also fighting seemingly random crashes when editing a bin under Windows 98. I've not "officially" reported because I can't consistently reproduce it. Is there some information I can collect to help pin this down?

Mark,

Is the fix in the new riched20.dll? I downloaded it and still get the page fault.

Thanks

Import/export table data?

I read the thread about WinALDL compatibility and if that is not in the offing, how about being able to import/export a table as an ASCII file? This will at least mitigate my fat fingers hitting the wogrn keys :)

I do like the ability to drag points on the tables.
