Data logging, especially BLM values

Post by dingebre »

I am getting back to a tuning project on a 1227747 ECM on my Jeep. I have used WINALDL to log data which is nice because it displays a matrix of the BLM values versus MAP and RPM so you can drive so as to fill in the array.

A couple of questions to all "you" out there...

With Tuner Pro RT, how do you "fill in the array" so to speak? I mean how do you drive and watch the values so you know you have coverd the operating range enough?

How are you reducing the data so that the VE tables can be tuned?

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks
David

Hi Dave -

Been a while. TunerPro doesn't have any histogram feature like WinALDL.

Yet.

For the sake of logging your 122747, I'd stick with WinALDL for now.

ALDL interaction and features will get better.

Thanks Mark. Now, I just need to figure out how to get WinALDL to work with a USB to Serial adapter...

Make sure 4800 baud is set in the WinALDL settings.

Interesting, I'll double check that. Thanks
