Like you said the offset thing only fixes part of the problem. I did try WIN/ALDL with the Extreme ALDL today and it worked. I think I may prefer it for logging, seems to log more parameters. It looks like it can't save logs though?

I was just out adjusting my TPS and noticed that there is an offset field (that is used in the equation) next to the factor field when editing the .ads file. Couldn't this be used to offset the reading (by what reading the TPS is at idle)? What format is this field in, i.e. hex or decimal? I tried e...

Do you have a link to Scanner Pro? I can't seem to find it. I wouldn't mind looking at it. Also you wouldn't happen to know if the Exreme ALDL/CABL1 can be used with WinALDL would you?

I checked it out today and was wondering about how it calculates the %. My TPS at idle is .69V (from what I've read it should be .54V?) and Tunerpro was reporting this as 13%. It is my understanding that the range on the sensor is .5-4.5, is this correct? Shouldn't it report 0% at idle? Also, at 70-...

A few questions

Well I burned my first chip today, just a copy of the stocker, but it's a start. I'm using a 7747 ECM in my 89 C2500 350/700R4 truck. First I'd like to know if its normal when logging for the coolant temp to start out high and drop? I was thinking there might be a pullup resistor or something causin...

Trouble logging

I got my ALDL cable from Moates yesterday and have been able to monitor my truck, but everytime I try to start a log I get an error. Something to the effect "error trying to create log". Has anyone else had this problem? I also downloaded the latest version of Tunerpro RT last night (befor...
