Moates cable, TunerPro RT 4.14
Cable is recognised, program connects to ECM, says it is monitoring but when I bring up the Dash all the panels are filled with zeros.
I have a stalling problem I'm trying to figure out but if I'm not getting info from the ECM it will be hard to diagnose.
I am computer savy but I'm a beginner with this automotive electronic stuff so don't assume I know anything about ECM's, etc.
Anyone with help getting the ECM and my computer/TunerPro talking to each other?
The engine and ECM is in a Fiero with a manual tranny. Chip tuned by Ryan at Sinister. I have the definition file that Ryan made for the chip. Engine wants to stall between shifts especially when down shifting.

a 93 lumina with a 3.1 or 3.4 should be a $DF tune.
try A186 from here:

I should have included the engine. It is the 3.4L DOHC from the Z34.
I have the DF that Ryan from Sinister made for this. TunerPro knows it is there and had found it.
The DF is a custom file because the engine is now in a Fiero and mated to a 5 speed manual.
I'll dll that DF and see if the computer and ECM will start 'talking' to ezch other.

Found what I thought was a problem was not a problem. Just incomplete directions on what to do.
I wasn't told that the Dash needed to be configured for anything to show up before it would provide readings.
I accidentally clicked on one of the Dash windows and a list came up. I clicked on one of the items and suddenly I had a reading in a window on the Dash.
Looks like I could've taken logs the whole time. Just didn't know it.
Ran the logs, sent them to the chip tuner and it looks like the IAC needs to relearn (or be replaced if it won't relearn).
Hopefully that will take care of the engine trying to die between shifts up or down.
