1994 GMC 2500 350/4L80E

I'm ordering the True USB burner but not sure what header/adapter I need to read the eprom (16168625 BDJR). From what I've gathered, its kinda hard to remove the eprom with the legs (connectors) in tact. I guess its easier just to cut the eprom out instead of trying to desolder them out.

I'm obviously very new to this and any help would be greatly appreciated!

Not sure what type of ecu yours is but if it's a P4 type then you can use an adapter like this to read the eprom http://www.moates.net/hdr1-memcal-header.html

it's a P6 unit, though it uses the classic MEMCAL from what i can remember, so the HDR1 will still be used.
