Hey guys, newbie here trying to burn my first chip. Have my bin modified, went into tools and AutoProm I/O, selected the 27SF512 chip, went to load buffer and selected my bin, erased chip, then check for blank, so far so good. Hit program chip and the progress bar moves from left to right, then it says write successful or something like that. Do a chip verify and it keeps telling me verification failed.
Writing a $8D mask bin to the chip, which is a 32kb file. Have my addresses like this:
Chip address
Start Address 008000
Ending Address 00FFFF
Buffer Address
Starting Address 000000
Ending address 007FFF
Everything that comes up in a search for this problem simply tells me to put those values into the addresses, which are already there. So what is the problem?
Last thing, if I do a "blank check" on the chip, it says its still blank right after I just burned it without hitting erase first. What am I doing wrong??
Thanks for the help guys
Chip won't verify
