Saab 900S 1995, unable to conect/comuncate. Help Topics u/s

I've just down loaded the free version of your Tunerpro and have an OBD1
plugged into my lap top but I am unable to get anything to run open or start> I tried using the Help topics but they wont display. I can see the subjects but when I click on them they don't open.
My car is a Saab 900S V6 2.5ltr, Vin:YSDD55V6T2007723.
Built Oct 1995,
I hope some one can help. :(
Just found out the engine management model : Motronic 2.8.1. :roll:
