Hey guys,

I was just curious what happens in this scenario:

Imagine I have commanded 20 degrees of timing at a given MAP/ RPM

Now, imagine I have knock or traction control commanding say 25 degrees of timing reduction....

What happens?

Does it go to 0 degrees of timing?

Or does it generate an error and not retard any timing?

This would be on a $DA2, 93 lt1 vette

this is why there is a "max retard" or "minimum advance" value in the calibration. should advance be commanded below that, it gets trimmed to that value instead.
