Newbie - How to copy a chip

This newbie would appreciate any help.

I currentlyl have a vehicle that has a customized chip and runs pretty good. I would like to get a back up of this chip that I can save in a safe place in case the original chip goes bad.

I currenlty have have Tuner Pro, Moates burn1 and the usb device that holds the chip.

How do I get a copy of my original chip?
